I'm actually at work right now, actively not listening to a conference call. I have St. Paddy's on my mind.
Everyone has contributed ideas, and all of them look essential. There may not be enough time for them all, and I like Rand's itinerary, but given the amount of activities we'd like to accomplish I'd like to see a St. Paddy's Weekend 2007 To Do List, temporarily housed in Tina's living room.
Would it be too much to have To Do T-Shirts? Rand, is that a possibility? They can include boxes and we can carry around a marker to check off things as we do them.
If the shirts are too much, Chris I'm definitely seeing a smaller posterboard designed for the weekend.
I love the idea of continuous MPHs. That should include JBPH and CPH. And victory lap should be on Friday night, without a doubt.
Sam, I think this might help your uphill charge against "24" :

Sam I think you should bring the first season of "How I Met Your Mother"..it'll be great to throw that on late night when were all hammered and eating delicious food.
limmer, i totally already own it, and, have most of this season dvr'd just for you guys!
tina, that is amazing. i've been watching it for maybe 3 weeks (plus about 6 episodes at sam's apartment) and i can't get enough.
hammered, sober, eating party packs whatever. whenever. can't wait.
I'm with you Dre... I've had St. Paddy's Day on the brain for a month now. These past couple of weeks couldn't go any slower (... and normally my work week flies by).
As far as T-Shirts go: I'm thinking that this would be quite a time-consuming project for me to undertake (and with only 1 week left, I don't know how we could agree on a design, get the materials, and churn out a bunch). If anybody else would like to helm the production of st. paddy's day t-shirts, I say go for it...
BUT, here's what I do propose: I've had a number of ideas for different 613-related t-shirts over the past couple of months. For anyone who is interested, I'm offering to make a random variety of homemade, iron-on t-shirts (again, they all relate to 613). If 5 people said they would like a random t-shirt, I would bring 5 differnet t-shirts with me and those people could arbitrarily pick their shirt or we could have some sort of a "yankee swap" gift exchange for the shirts. I would just ask that whoever requests one reimburses me for the supplies (shirt, letters, iron-on sheets) once we're in Ithaca (this wouldn't cost any more than $10, in fact I think it'd be closer to $8 a person). In keeping with the St. Patrick's Day theme, i might use only kelly green colored t-shirts (sizes medium and large).
So, for anyone who would be interested in purchasing a 613-related kelly green t-shirt (size medium or large) for a small fee to be paid upon delivery of said t-shirt... lemme know. The design you receive will most likely be selected at random (I'm hoping to recapture some of the surprise element that makes winning free t-shirts so awesome).
If this doesn't sound appealing, feel free to let me know. I'm just spitballing here.
if you would like a shirt, you'll have to let me know by Sunday at the latest
Yankeeeeee Swap.
love that episode
Rand, you can't make that proposition and I not full heartedly accept.
stinger before bed = night terrors
