Helloooo All!
I just wanted to say how happy I am to see the blog back and running. I just thought I would take the time to say hello and cue you in to a few changes Ithaca has undergone since you've departed...
1. As most of you've heard, Wednesdays are not what you may have remembered. People are still going out, but it's not always to Colelgetown. Moonshadows has made a surprising comeback (although it's 2-for-1 not 3-for-1 pitchers) and for some reason people still love second floor... Micawbers has also been a favorite for many on the Wednesdays.
2. We had a snow day! You might be saying "What the hell! I was there for 4 years and never got a friggin snow day." Well my friends, it snowed here like I've never seen it. 20-25 inches in one day. This was the first time in thirteen years Ithaca has cancelled classes and the third time in history Cornell shut down.
3. Thursday nights: bowling was gone, now it's back, but Kilpatriks ROCKS! Every Thursday night Dan Mills along with random guests will show up to Kilpatriks around 10pm and play an awesome set until close. He's great and will play anything from his own songs to Kelly Clarkson. Aka - my fantasy. I don't know if you've all been there, but the bar is great - feels almost European, drinks are reasonably priced, but the atmosphere and music are just amazing.
4. Most of you recall the Starbucks that opened in the Commons last year. Well, Ithaca now has a Dunkin Donuts (right next to CTB Express) AND A SECOND STARBUCKS. That's right friends. TWO STARBUCKS in Ithaca, NY! The second opened in college town last week right across from Collegetown Pizza where I believe there used to be a bank... Anyways - it's huge, like Fucillo HUGE. It's also right on the corner so you see it no matter where you are. Apparently Cornell kids have really taken to it - and whenever I walk past it is always crowded with a line... it's sad. What if one day CTB goes?
5. The new business school is really going up quick. You might remember the gigantic hole the college decided to dig a few days before your graduation, it's now got a solid foundation and almost the entire framework is up.
6. The pizza at The Nines in collegetown is just absolutely a-m-a-z-i-n-g. I never really heard any of you guys talking about it too much so I highly recommend taking the trip while you are there. I also saw Casey Doody there the other night and she says hi to everyone!
7. The weekend on St. Patty's Day falls on the second weekend of spring break, alas, I feel like a lot of people aren't going to be around for the momentous 613 reunion! That is, some of your favorite FH girls like Courtney, Rachel, Andrea, Sarah M., Marisa, etc... Also, the 14 boys that still go here are taking a road trip down to Panama this year and will also not be back.
I have no doubt in my mind that it will be amazing (I have How I Met Your Mother recording from every week since I've been back - which last week's episode was not even close or I might even say nothing like the "Story of Sam's life"), regardless, I just wanted to inform you guys what was up.
7a. On a related note, are you guys getting a hotel? We have two couches and 1 futon, but we also have another we can borrow. I don't know what your plans are at all, but if you don't mind sharing a futon (which I know Limmer is cool with) that could sleep up to 6 people. Just putting it out there.
8. Finally - I just wanted to say I CAN'T F-ING WAIT! We might be getting Kegs from PA, or Wegmans, plenty of ingredients to make green skippy- but will leave up to the pros to make, and LOTS of delicious green food (let me know if there are any requests- as of now we have hint of lime tostitos and guac.) (yes I know hint of lime chips aren't actually green, but they have those delicious little green limey dots, so we figured that was good enough).
9. Again, SO EXCITED! If you have any requests (food, MUSIC, games, booze, specific kuma charmers) let me know!
That's all for now!
-T
P.S.
10. Although I enjoyed making them last year, in light of past events, there will be no green funfetti cupcakes this year.
That's right, cupcakes for nobody.

OMG I can not wait.... I for one still want to drive up thursday night. Anyone else interested??????
In addition to that - we (residents of 128) will not be there until around 7.30ish on friday. We fly in from florida and get into philly at 2.50.
However, we are more than willing to leave keys for you guys to get into/use the house if you'd like! Tony, you've lived there for a week or so, you know the deal.
ABBODANZA!!!
thanks for directing everyone's focus back where it needs to be: Paddy's Day Weekend. When's everyone arriving? Which bars are we going to? What food are we ordering? How will Sam embarrass Tina and entertain the rest of us this time? The possibilities are endless... also, I can bring up sleeping bags so all we'll need is some floor space (thanks for graciously offering up your home Tina, that will save us valuable money that would have been spent on an overpriced hotel room, but that can now go towards buying numerous Pudgies Party Packs).
alright, let's get some chatter going
Abbondanza is bullshit. There wont be an abbundance of cupcakes and that sucks
I read the post from last years St. Patty's day and I highly suggest it.
OK on to the important stuff:
I want to arrive thursday night but if no one esle wasnts to I will just drive up early friday morning. My bar list is completely open since I dont want to know my own name by the timewe make it to the bar. More Importantly FOOD!
