Tina, you are well aware of how you can get Jared and I out on the East Coast to celebrate 613 day (which falls on a Friday this year!). I've laid out this list of conditions for you when you were out here over Spring Break, but I've decided to put it in print and post it on the blog.
1: You must have a wild party at the Capozzi residence (preferably without your parents home because I hear they've banned 613ers).
2: At least six 613ers (including Jared and I) must be in attendance. If you can get all 613ers that would be AMAZING. ICFHers and Friends of the Family should not only be welcome, but encouraged to come.
3: Jared and I must be able to purchase round trip tickets (including tax and surcharges) for $350 or less.
4: Someone will need to pick us up at the airport, and drive us back for our return flight.
5: Since we'll already be dropping a bunch of money on a plane ticket, we must not be expected to pay for anything.
This list of demands might sound a bit snobbish (I'm specifically referring to the last one), but keep in mind, I'm NOT saying that the only way we'll fly back is if all those conditions are met... I'm simply stating that IF all of those conditions are met, you have my word: WE WILL BE THERE. Any weekend out of the year. Caveat - I can only promise one trip in a 3-month span, meaning there will be a 3-month grace period, following one of these excursions, in which we will not be obligated to make the trek (considering the price of plane tickets would add up and take a toll on the old bank account)... I hope Jared doesn't mind me speaking for him. I'm pretty sure he was drunk the last time we discussed and agreed upon this.
On a side (but somewhat related) note: I was telling Jared and Jamie how I really want for all 613ers to have an extra copy of our house key, so that one of you can just fly in on a random Friday (without any previous notice) and be sitting on our couch drinking beer (ala Tony) when we arrive home from work for a blow-out weekend. Also, considering we live 2 miles from LAX, I'd love to drop my bike off in the morning - chained to one of the fences in a nearby airport parking lot - where someone could exit their plane, walk over to the parking lot, unlock the bike, and take a quick ride down to our place. Call me a dreamer, I just think that would be awesome.
