Question stemming from an incident at work...

At what age is it NOT okay, assuming that there is an age where it is okay, to say "My bad?"

Totally depends who you are and what the context is...

Could I imagine my mom saying it. No.

Could I imagine my 30 year old boss saying it. Yes.

Could I imagine some stoner friends now saying it when they're 60 - maybe.

Lets get some more context Chris.

Personaly, I think it's more of a 'what decade' instead of 'what age' kind of question.

I am going into the understock of the cd shelves to get more Josh Grobon "Noel" and upon my turn to face the customer to hand her the cd her elbow jutts out and knocks the cd out of my hand

While I go to pick it up and rehand it to her she utters "Shoot. My Bad"

This woman was in late 20's early 30's and dressed in business casual/long black p-coat and the "my bad" was uttered in complete seriousness and rolled off the tongue as though a regular utterance

So you found this unacceptable? Or just made you think of the question.

what a horrible person.. seriously, retarded degenerates like her should not be allowed in bookstores.

HAhaha...believe it or not, there was no judging on my part
I only found that it did not necessarily fit coming from her, keeping in mind that it would be different if say it was something she had grown up with, like one of us saying it later in life, but it had appeared that the "my bad" might have missed her demographic...and therefore the question arose

just one of many random questions that help me pass the time...
