On Wednesday night 613 is having a Seder.
The Seder will start around 7:30 and last for about 20 to 30 min. There will be a meal following the service with brisket, chicken, potato pancakes, salad, asparagus, matzah pizza, matzah ball soup and a little gefilte fish for the risk takers.
For those of you coming that do not know anything about the holiday, our Seder will be brief. The short service tells the story of Passover and includes Hebrew. During the service, everyone eats a little matzah and drinks four glasses of wine so make sure to bring your own bottle. I recommend Mannishevitz. It tastes like Welchs grape Juice.
A little background on the Holiday: Passover is the Jewish Holiday celebrating the Exodus from slavery under the evil Pharaoh in Egypt. The Holiday's name comes from the Hebrew word Pesach meaning "passed over." which refers to the tenth plague of Egypt.
On an interesting note, many scholars believe that Jesus's last meal was celebrating Passover.
